The hugely successful Renault 5 was launched in 1972 and stayed in production until 1996. It has become a French classic.

Designed by Michel Boué, the R5 was conceived as a small, affordable hatchback aimed at providing practicality and urban mobility.

It quickly became a favourite in Europe due to its compact size, and modern design, In total over 5.5 million Renault 5’s were sold.

Here at R-Fit we have converted the R5 to fully Electric with a fully homologated kit.

We retain the R5 original radiator as the Electric 22 kw motor is water cooled. The 10Kwh battery pack will give a range of proximately 50 miles so ideal for nipping round the city or local area.
